Ideas for Arc XP

Some content licensing agreements require that content be unpublished and/or purged from the licensee's website after a certain period of time. We have wire content that comes in unpublished that we publish as we decide to use it. In this specific case, we're looking to:

1. Delete/purge content from the API that we never published after the contractually allowed time has passed.
   • If the content was published at all during the time it was allowed, then unpublished, we would want to keep that for archival/legal purposes.  
   • This content would be gone forever and keep our storage size down. 

These rules would not apply to staff or freelance stories, only those sources that we need to apply them to. We should be able to set up different schedules/rules based on source of the content (the specific wire service or third party content provider).

Content here means text and images, but could expand to videos and other content types as the Arc offerings expand.
