It would be useful to be able to search for metadata like Role, Type, Active/Inactive -- and have the search stay there if you edit from the result set. Currently if you search for all authors with the name of Smith - and you edit one of those authors - your result set is back to all authors with newest on top - so you then have to do the search again to edit the next author you intended to edit. Exasperating.
