Ideas for Arc XP

Introduce a tree structure for documentation

Problem:

Currently its sometimes very difficult to find documentation for a specific problem in ALC as you almost always have to search for keywords.

Sometimes you do not know the correct keywords, sometimes they are too broad or there are too many pages with the same keyword but another content etc etc

Proposed solution:

Having a tree of all documentation pages whose branches get more specific the deeper you go, would make it easier to find the documentation you are looking for and delve eassier into any given topic by looking at other pages on the same level.

It would be nice if all documentation pages would find their way into this global tree structure.

Example:

Root:

->Pagebuilder

--->Blocks

------->Functional

-------------->...

------->Object oriented

--------------> ....

--->Content Sources

-------> ...

--->Composer

------->...

--->...

propably the proposed tree structure is not the optimal one. Its only used to illustrate the idea

    Hi Bran,

    Thank you for the feedback. This makes a lot of sense. It overlaps with a similar solution we have been thinkering. We are aware of the challenges of the existing navigation architecture and looking ways to improve navigation experience.
