Currently, the icons for our app, the magnifying glass (search) and gear icon (settings) do not have labels. The screen reader just says “button” and does not say “search” or “settings” so a blind user would not know what their functionality is.
Our legal team has told us that in order to be accessible, we should update the labels for those icons.
