If you crop an image in photo center and then download the image, none of the IPTC data is associated with the downloaded image.
This means that the photo editors have to look up the caption, photographer and credit information and input that again when the downloaded photo is used in another application (e.g., print).
Either that or they have to send the original photo to the other application, download it there and crop it again. This is especially onerous if you have a number of cropped photos that you want to use in another application (like for print).
Hi Lynda - thanks for the idea! Are you expecting the original IPTC data of the image, or the data you inputted in Photo Center for the image, to write back to the binary of the image?
