Once you've added a custom credit photographer, you can't add a second custom credit photographer. Adding multiple photographers that exist in Author service is no problem, and you can also have one custom credit photographer and one that comes from Author service.
Have confirmed with ACS that this is expected behavior, but our newsroom quite often have combined images from multiple custom credit photographers, so this also needs to work.
The way it currently work is also very confusing - it took quite a while for us to understand why we sometimes could add several photographers and sometimes not, since there are no error messages - you are just blocked from adding a second name without any explanation.
