Ideas for Arc XP

When an article with one or more images gets published in Ellipsis, the images themselves don't transport the metadata we thought we'd given them in Ellipsis or Anglerfish. It seems, the Metadata within the image-files don't change at all, no matter where we try to add or change metadata in Arc.

This is an issue for us, because the individual metadata like caption, photographer and source for one specific article will neither be transported to our external archive-system nor to Eidos (downstream), where we produce our pages for the newspapers. And the newspaper-producers need these information to work efficiently. This might be an issue for upcoming costumer of Arc as well.

We'd like Arc to change the metadata within an image-file, so the file transports this individual data for further processes.
