Despite us asking our editorial team to only upload files no larger than 3mb etc, some users upload raw images that are huge - 20+MB into PhotoCenter. We incur additional bandwidth costs, but more importantly, the images that the resizer outputs are therefore larger than they need to be.
We believe each organisation should be able to configure the maximum file size allowed to be uploaded by their team.
Once in place, if a user attempts to upload an image that is too large, they should receive an error message saying it is too large and asking them to reduce the size of the image before uploading.
