We have somewhat revamped our site, with columnist headshots overlaid with a circular mask in certain spots.
Occasionally, the headshots are not centered. Sometimes, they are partially cut off.
It would be terrific if we could set a focal point on a headshot photo in Photo Center and have that apply to the headshot in Author Service.
As I understand it, smart cropping relies on focal point, so neither apply in the Author Service.
If focal points could carry over to Author Service, it would help us a great deal.

We don't have any concrete plans on this front, but we have certainly heard a desire to integrate Photo Center and Resizer into Author service before and we'll keep this in mind as we go into planning.
