As a photo editor, I want to crop the cover image to a certain aspect ratio that complies to the website's presentation. The gallery images are not always 16:9 or 4:3, which is the normal aspect ratio when it shows up on the section feeds or as inline elements on our website.I do not want the code to do auto-crop as it often creates undesired effects. When the gallery is shared, I want to properly-cropped image to be on the social cards, instead of an automatically-cropped version of my cover image.
