we would like to suggest the automated clearing of redirects as a feature.
We are a news publisher and focus on the republishing of our news content for google.
The automated clearing of redirects would help us to change the headline and url of an article, creating an immediate, non cached redirect from the old version of the article to the new version of the article.

As a content creator, when I update he headline and URL of an article, I want the cache to clear so that users are immediately redirected to the new version of the story.
