This idea has been merged into another idea. To comment or vote on this idea, please visit GLD-I-46 Allow videos to be scheduled to publish later.
At the moment it doesn't seem possible to schedule the publication of videos for a future date. This means that if a certain video is under embargo or otherwise being held for debut at a later date, a human has to be there to push the "Publish" button. This can be especially problematic if the video is supposed to go live at an unusual time for the editor/producer (for example, if it goes live at midnight).
It would be nice if there was a scheduling feature that worked the same way as the one in Composer.
I've merged this Idea with another one with the same request, so that it can be voted on and tracked from one place: Allow videos to be scheduled to publish later
Adding a comment here that this is a request from our content teams as well. They would like to have a video published everyday at a specific time, but want to do the uploading/encoding all a week in advance.
If this was implemented, it would also be good if those scheduled videos could be added to a scheduled story in Composer. At the moment you either have to publish your video first to be able to add it to a scheduled story in Composer, or remember to publish the video after the story have gone live and then add it after the fact.
