Madsack operates a network of publications. We want to distribute the same video across multiple websites but adapt editorial metadata such as the headline for each audience. Circulation cannot currently solve this because video metadata such as headlines.basic is global to the Video ANS object. Clone allows independent metadata but does not reuse the media asset, requiring the video to be uploaded/processed again.
Would the recommended solution be to extend circulation with website-specific metadata variants, or could Clone support creating another Video record that safely shares the original managed video asset?
Another idea for the extension of the circulation with website-specific metadata variants: As a matter of fact, this would be great feature for Composer, too.
