We would like the option, due to potential cost savings, to use MediaPackage over MediaLive as a 24/7 packager for incoming RTMP streams. Features should be consistent with standard HLS or RTMP input to MediaLive channels.
Channel Setup
- Choice option in Live Channel configuration AWS MediaLive or AWS MediaPackage
- Stream Type - 24/7 or On Demand
- Stream Reservation
- Stream Class - May be limited to Standard (primary AND secondary) for MediaPackage
- Input type - may be limited to RTMP for MediaPackage
- List Primary (and Secondary) Input URL
- List MediaPackage User and Password (Regen option?)
- List AWS Primary and Secondary Output URLs
