I'm looking to see if we can add more options to the Arc XP Home screen, specifically having the ability to add organization-wide customized announcements and links to useful resources.
I see the Home screen as a useful place for not just reaching Arc XP services quickly, but also to get access to information that may be helpful, especially for newer users of the platform.
This could be resolved with a simple HTML/text block that broadcasts custom announcements about an upcoming Arc release or new feature, updates to their website or basic support information. We could also have a separate space with a list of links to other third-party links our organization may use for quick and easy access.
Ideally, this message area should be displayed above the Trending Content section. But it would be great if each organization could customize how things load on this page should they want to keep Trending Content up high, or if they want to add column/grid options (ie. one option is to have the Messages section as 2/3 width of the page, and the Resource Links section as 1/3 of the page, both next to each other).
To ensure that not EVERYONE can make adjustments to this space, a permission should also be created so only certain users can make changes.

Thanks for the follow-up here! The request here is so we can send messages to our editors whenever there are updates they should be aware of. These can either be related to product announcements, release updates, any issues, etc. This can be tied either to Arc XP or other vendors we may use.

Hello Troy, thanks for this idea. As we are considering revamping the Arc Home page, could you share what business problem "allowing admins to make announcements" would solve for you?
Thank you so much for the submission. While we don't have any Home page improvements currently underway, there are a lot of great suggestions here that we were certainly take into consideration when planning our future roadmap.
