Inheriting content from a story in composer when you create a Story Card in Pagebuilder is great, as it allows an editor to get title, description and image in just one action. Sometimes you want that story card to keep the content as it is, but if the author keeps modifying the original story in Composer, then the story card in your homepage will also be updated, reflecting that changes and potentially affecting the whole visual of the page (with a longer title, a different image...). It would be awesome to add a "lock" option in a feature, so the fields keep the same in Pagebuilder and are not updated even if the original story is modified. That would get the control back to the homepage team to decide wether or not the inherited contents are the good ones to be shown in the homepage.

This will not be a platform-supported functionality but you can leverage Plugins to extend your feature code to address this scenario.
