We have seen that goldfish creates the short urls automatically. We guess, that within Ellipsis it works the same way. Unfortunately we have no documentation on this.
As an background information: We consider using information/id of the short URL within the canonical.
Information from your side was, that the short url is entered manually. Please clarify.
