When you highlight a phrase or sentence to leave a comment in Ellipsis using a triple-click from the mouse, only a portion of your highlighted text remains associated with the comment after it's added. This was working previously and reports of this happening began on 1/10 which was shortly after version 1.10 was released. ACS reported that is appears this issue is due to a problem in the third party editor library that Ellipsis relies on - Draft.js.
