Improve Presentation of Image Selected in Photo Center When Adding to Composer Article

I'm looking to see if there's a way to improve the way it is visually presented when a photo is selected or chosen in the Photo Center library to add to an article in Composer.

I would like for the plus sign (+) to be larger or designed in a way so I can see it more easily. Adding to this, once an image is selected, the minus sign (-) can sometimes be difficult to see.

This is noticeable when there is a lot of lighter colors on the photo behind the plus/minus sign, for example.

I understand that there is a shadow effect that gets created around the image when it's selected, but I'm wondering if even changing the exposure of the photo itself would help designate what photo is being used when picking your featured media or embedded photo.

These are just a few ideas that may help improve this, but please let me know if anything is unclear.

Thanks!

    Hi all,

The new Image Selector experience will be in Composer with the upcoming 1.56 release. We are excited for the new experience as it will address all of the feedback above. Please reach out if you feel that the new experience still does not solve the problem of "it being difficult to visually tell that an image is selected when selecting images to add to content (like a story in Composer, etc.).

In the meantime I am going to mark this idea as shipped. Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for your idea. This is a Photo Center component, so will move it to the appropriate workspace.
