As a writer in Composer when I go to add a character from the special characters tool palette, the window does not resize to fit my screen and I cannot scroll or get to the additional characters. I must user the CTRL plus - key to resize my screen to a very small size so that I can see the character I need and then use CTRL plus + key to go back to the size I was working in.
The special character window should be relational and adjust to the size of my screen. Very inconvenient and interferes with workflow for laptop users and those with limited vision who must have the type on the screen very large.

No - it's that many people are working on laptops these days and at the 100% normal browser magnification the special character screen doesn't resize and there is no way to get to the characters at the bottom of the screen without minimizing the zoom to a sub par level to get to the character you want and then going back to 100%. Wither the palette should resize or there should be a scroll bar so you can get to every character in the palette without having to zoom the browser display
Hi Lynda! Thank you for the submission. Just to make sure I understand what you are asking, it seems like in your normal workflow you are zooming in on the browser (by using CTRL plus +), which obfuscates the special character menu. Is that correct?
And you may have already tried this (and it may not be enough since it only addresses the text size of the content body), but there is a text size feature which will allow you to change the text size for better visibility. Using the text size feature will not interfere with the special character menu.
Thanks!
