Our editors have requested that certain headline fields on the Compose tab in Composer be removed. The ones that are exposed when clicking the view Headlines button. Can these fields be set in Settings so that we can choose the ones we want to use and not show the others? Ideally we would also like to be able to rename the headline fields so that they make more sense to reporters and editors.

With the release of Composer 2.0 we made it possible to configure which headlines you want to include or not include as well as the ability to set individual character limits.
Thanks for your feedback here! We will be considering more broadly how we approach additional field flexibility (and customization) for the future!
Similarly, it would be helpful to be able to add custom headlines. Our editors have been asking for a headline that would be specific to social media, and we have a request to repurpose one of the existing headlines for that, but I'm concerned that future updates to the platform might expect that the fields are used as labeled.
