We're looking to see if the "Preview Story" icon can become the "View Live Story" link once the story is in a published state.
At the same time, under the Actions menu, have the "Go to live story" link then become a "Preview Story" link instead when the above happens.
Here is the thought process:
I'm working on a story that is unpublished. The icon in the top toolbar should be the "Preview story" link at this moment. It would be the preview URL for the article.
Under the Actions menu, the "Go to live story" link should remain missing as it is now.
Once I publish my story, the icon in the toolbar should now become a "View Live Story" link, allowing quick acces to the published URL.
Under the Actions menu, there should be a "Preview story" link menu option. This would go to the preview URL.
The other alternative is to expose both buttons at the top level without hiding either under the Actions menu.
This was already brought up with the Composer team, but I wanted to file the idea for tracking purposes.

Hi Troy! We very much appreciate you submitting this idea and we're happy to say we're planning to address this in an upcoming release!
Also, if I may add here: I keep accidentally clicking this Preview Story icon because it looks so similar to the Websked Workflows icon. This means I then have to close that tab and return to the Composer window after the accidental click.
Is there a way to separate this button altogether from the two menu options? If this should be its own idea, please let me know.
