Add optional field for Editor alongside Author. Use cases:
Account for Editor when editing happened outside of Arc, so revision history of post shows someone who built the post but maybe didn't edit it
Record Editor for legal record keeping / audit purposes
Option to show Editor on article page alongside Author byline

We have a lot of freelancers, so editing happens for/with them in Google Docs. There are also members of newsroom staff who prefer to write/edit in Google Docs rather than within a CMS. Sometimes the person who builds the post in the CMS is not responsible for editing the post – it could be the writer or a member of our production staff.
This request is not about revision history capture at all – only having a record of who was responsible for the editing. I've attached what our current (homegrown) CMS offers for this.
Our legal team and newsroom confirmed they want this record maintained, so our workaround for now will be to:
Add another author
For that author, write Editor in a custom Role field
Program front end templates to exlude that field

It sounds like you'd like to have a field that captures who is providing editorial feedback and capturing that specifically in Revision history, as well as having the option to surface the editor on the story. Is that correct?
