The main editor in Composer has a smart character substitution feature which automatically replaces the “dumb” double quotes with smart quotes according to the locale of the user.
Example: "some text inside double quotes" →„some text inside double quotes”
Our editors would like this character substitutions to also occur in certain other non-technical free-text fields within Composer and PhotoCenter.
The following fields have been identified as high priority:
Metadata > Description Field
Image Captions both in Composer and in PhotoCenter (see attached screenshot)
