We use the platform pitches to automate certain processes like push notifications or newsletters. The processes are based on webhooks generated by WebSked upon reception of a platform pitch on certain platforms.
In certain circumstances (e.g.: election day or an event which is evolving throughout the day), it happens that a given story gets regular updates during the day and that the same story is sent via a push notification several times during its lifecycle. Taking into account our processes, such a need requires that this story gets pitched several times a day on the same platform (the one used for push notifications for instance).
In Arc, at current time, it is possible to do so but it requires too many actions from the user: leave Composer to go to WebSked, open the pitch window, remove the platform pitch and then create the new platform pitch.
As a web editor, I should be able to pitch the same story several times for the same platform.
Hello Guillaume,
Thank you for sharing this idea with us, I agree this user flow could use iteration. At this time we do not have this planned on our near term roadmap, but I have shared your feedback with the design lead to make sure they are aware this is a pain point.
Thank you,
Anais
Hi,
You changed the status of this idea indicating that it deserves more information but I don't see any question. Could you describe what you don't understand ?
Thanks beforehand.
