If you don't know already, Arc XP provides a platform called IFX that enables you to build integrations between your enterprise platforms and Arc XP. For example, WebSked sends a "pitch" event whenever someone pitches content to a Platform or Publication. You can create an integration that uses that pitch event to trigger a process where the pitched content is automatically sent to a social media management platform.
WebSked sends several different types of events to IFX that you can read about in the IFX Event Menu in Swagger.
At the moment, WebSked does not send any events that pertain to Collections -- and we aim to fix this! These are some of the events that we are considering sending to IFX:
Collection A has been created
The configurations for Collection A have been updated
Content X has been added to Collection A
Content X has been pinned to position P in Collection A
Collection A has been reordered
Collection A has been deleted
Collection A has been published
Collection A has been scheduled to publish
Collection A is about to publish in 10 minutes
If you haven't worked with events, think of them as single occurrences that are used to indicate that something important has just happened. You can then use them to trigger the next step in a process or workflow.
Please let us know which of the events above are valuable to you and how you might use them. Also, let us know if there are other events specific to Collections that we should consider sending to IFX.
