Publishing an article involves both writing and editor. In Composer today, the Author field allows users to select one or more names from the Author Service list, and that value is used to populate bylines for most publications. In WebSked, this field is also available for filtering and searching, making it easy to identify who wrote a story without opening Composer or what stories a specific writer plans to publish soon.
We want comparable Editor field with the similar behavior and WebSked support. While the editor value is not primarily for public-facing display, it is critical to newsroom workflow. Having this field searchable and filterable in WebSked would help editors—especially managing editors—understand workloads, manage queues, and set priorities across the calendar.
