Hi Cody, thanks for the idea. Importing hundreds of tags one by one is a real chore if done manually.
Bulk creation is already supported through the Tags API. The add endpoint takes a list of tags, so you can use it from a short script, from an agentic workflow, or in your own tooling if you have a specific need. Hundreds of tags take a handful of calls:
curl--request POST \ --url'https://api.{org}.arcpublishing.com/tags/add?path=/'\ --header'Authorization: Bearer {token}'\ --header'Content-Type: application/json'\ --data'[ {"slug": "city-council", "name": "City Council", "description": "City council meetings and votes"}, {"slug": "school-board", "name": "School Board"} ]'
What this idea asks for is a native upload in the Global Settings tags screen, so editors can do it without a script. That makes sense, so we're keeping the idea open as Future consideration. To help us shape it, tell us what you'd upload: a CSV with slug, name and description, or something else?
