Countless revisions are created by users just opening a story to look at it, when they don't make any change to it, A vision is created as soon as the story is opened. it Also updates the last updated date on the story. The combination of bogus revisions and incorrect last updated dates makes actually finding real revisions to a story a timeconsuming process. This also quickly consumes the 100 revision limit of which revisions can be displayed in Ellipisis, making importatn early REAL revisions inaccessible.
An alternative approach is creating a mechanism to open a story READ only, so there is no need to create the revision.
