Ideas for Arc XP

Multi-site alternate headlines

As a publisher, it would be hugely beneficial to circulate an article from another site to my site and allow me to change the displayed headline for my site only. I would not have permissions to change the headline of the article which I didn't create, but when I circulate the article to my site, I would like to give it a more localized headline. Having that headline part of the circulation metadata seems to make sense as that data is particular to my site and would not impact another site in the circulation or the article metadata for the primary/owner site.

This option alleviates some of the need to create a clone of an article simply to localize the headline. This is very similar to the WebSked collection ability to change headlines for a single instance, but it would apply to articles which appear in section displays not just collection displays.

Hi there! This absolutely makes sense in terms of not having to make individual localized clones for a headline change. Are there other values you're changing in localized versions or is there any other context or scenarios you can provide for how you're localizing content? While we don't have immediate plans for resolving this, we'll keep it on our radar with other localization improvements we make to Composer!
