Allow users with certain permissions to put in any url they please, either before or after it's published.

Yes, this feature would be great and I'd like to bump it back up for consideration, since there has been no movement on it for about eight months. It's a standard feature of other CMSes and many of our writers have come to expect it.
Addendum: There may be a way to do this with one of the other headline fields and the URL admin, but maybe still make a standard way.
