Currently, for videos being used as Lead Art and/or that have been embedded in the body copy of a story, no content metadata is surfaced. The headline/title of the video and the blurb or "tease" fields do not appear within the article. This makes it challenging to provide additional context for the video content and to "sign post" this content as viewable for readers.
It would be ideal to surface at least the headline and description fields for video content, similar to what Themes offers for gallery content.
This is available as of Q2 2022, using Themes 1.20 version or later.
Thank you for this feedback-- the problem makes sense. We'll investigate options for how we can display the headline/title and description text and put the request in our backlog.
When videos appear in text articles there is no information to say what they are about. This can be particularly troublesome when the video is related content rather than directly about the topic of the story.
