Hi it would be very useful to be able to see at a glance the subytpe of an article that is in a collection. So like the recent improvement to be able to tell the paywall status of an article this would also list the subtype.
This is another good suggestion. To be clear, do you mean when you see a list of content in a Collections, and the "card" includes details about the content, that's where you would like to see the sub-type?
Repeating what I put in the other ideas so all can see: we hope to make many improvements to Collections in the coming year so I will include this idea as well as we collect our research.

Yes - so when you open a collection you can quickly see the subtype listed there as per the items in red on the screenshot.
