A setting was recently added to Composer that allows a user reading an article in Read-only mode to stay in read only mode even when the original locked user releases the story. That solved half the problem. For our editors working in websked the issue remains - if you edit a locked story from the Publications tab (or anywhere else) you are put into read-only mode. But when the original user releases the file then the read-only mode turns to edit mode. In websked there is no indication that the file is locked and no way to stay in read-only mode once the file is unlocked.
Please add a locked indication in websked along with the ability to open a story in read-only mode (like Composer) and a setting that allows the user to stay in read-only mode (like Composer)
