oEmbed causes several issues within edit screen

oEmbed seems to cause quite a lot of problems in StoryBuilder. I used these oEmbed values:

Provider: https://vimeo.com/api/oembed.json?url=

Object: https://vimeo.com/165131668

How to replicate the bug:

  • create a new traditional story
  • fill in title and other required meta information
  • add oEmbed to story content
  • publish story
  • navigate away from the story
  • return to the story and see that oEmbed doesn't appear in the story content anymore

Sometimes the edit screen fails to load at all. This is the error that is returned:

Can not load article with id TJG6FH4K4BFERPIGUHBVLA2GUI. Status: error. Error Thrown: Bad Gateway.

    Hi Roland, I just tried a Vimeo video in the social embed content element. I used this one and the video rendered in the story content. I saved, left the file, and returned to find the video still there. Can you check again? I pulled this embed link from the share pop-up on Vimeo.
