Within Composer, we would like the ability to insert single line breaks rather than paragraph breaks - ideally via CLT+Shift+Enter or Shift +Enter etc. This would help us out with things like listicles where we don't want sub headers etc to be separate from a paragraph. The reason being is that our ad units are dynamically inserted into the page after every x number of paragraphs.

This issue is resolved in the upcoming Composer 2.0 which we will announce in Q1 2024.
Thank you so much for submitting this idea. I've merged it with another similar idea -- boosting this up toward the top of the list. We're looking at rebuilding functionality in the Composer editor in 2023, and supporting line breaks and soft returns are top of mind.
