In Wordpress, and even this admin I'm currently typing in, I can copy/paste tables from Excel or Google spreadsheets and it automatically creates a table. There is no such ability in Ellipsis, so users who used to make tables in Wordpress now much get HTML separately, or manually input table data.
For example, pasting this in the very admin works fine, but I can't do this same thing in Ellipsis:
Table heading 1 | Table heading 2 | Table heading 3 | Table heading 4 |
row 1 | row 1 | row 1 | row 1 |
row 2 | row 2 | row 2 | row 2 |
row 3 | row 3 | row 3 | row 3 |
row 4 | row 4 | row 4 | row 4 |

This would be very helpful. Any progress on this?
Bumping this up in the hopes that it won't take another year (!) to address. Our Sports department uses a ton of tables full of stats, which are built (or come to us) outside of Arc. Any attempts to paste these tables in, so far, have been just a garbled single block of text, and rebuilding each one by hand is not a viable solution (there are far too many). It's a big enough issue that our writers are still using our old CMS to produce stories that include a lot of tables, which is bad.
