As a user, I can build my own filter of stories in WebSked. I also have the opportunity to visualize the list of results in plain-text. However, this visualization is not practical as I cannot easily share the outcome of the filter. It should be possible to export the results of the filter in a csv file thanks to a 'Export' button. The list of columns/fields that can be exported should be configurable by the user.
As a nice to have, it would be ideal if I can send this outcome to a Slack channel of my choice.
This idea is a more generic version of idea WS-I-191.
PS: if all this is not possible, the minimum would consist in presenting data in a more structured way. Every record should be presented over 1 single line and each column has the same width for each story (in case of content is too long, a carriage return is done within the cell).
Hello all,
Long time coming, we need to get the ability to export websked searchs in a csv format. This is for journalists and documentalists purpose. Thanks to come back to us on that idea.
I've merged https://arcxp.aha.io/ideas/WS-I-191 into this Idea so we can continue the discussion here.
Hello all,
I know this is a long time coming but I'd like to follow up with you on this idea.
We are exploring the idea of being to create a Saved Search, made up of your filter settings and search query, that you can share with your coworkers through Arc XP. So instead of having to export the filter settings to a CSV you would simply make that Shared Search available to others.
Does this solution work for you? Or is there a capability that the CSV provides that I'm missing?
Thanks!
