Add Ability to Search for Stories by Tag with WebSked Merged

Hi there,

In WebSked, I see an option to do an advanced search that allows me to potentially find stories by tag, but I would like to see this feature working if it should.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to the Stories tab of WebSked.
  2. Click on the Advanced button in the left column and choose "Tags" from the dropdown menu that says "Add New Parameter."
  3. Enter any tag at all and press return to begin a search, only that a "No stories found" message displays.

I've also seen a similar result when attempting to search for Authors with the dropdown menu.

It would also be great to be able to search for tags directly in Composer like we can file stories by section, but that can be its own Arc Idea if needed.

    Hi there,

    I'm thinking this Arc Idea can be closed or merged with WS-I-240, which I think better describes what I'm seeking.

    At the moment, if you search for a tag using its display name (like "Crime" without the quotes), no stories appear in my results. But if you search "crime" (lowercased, potentially the tag's slug), then I receive results back.

    The same goes for tags with multiple words. "Orange County" results in no stories returned, but "orange-county" does result in returned stories for the search.

    What I would like is the ability to search for a tag using its display name, like "Orange County" -- and maybe to be able to search for it with or without the quotes.
