Most of our feeds surface content outside of our own website (eg on social media, in Apple News, etc) and as such we would like to append query parameters to the promoted article URLs.
This would allow our site analytics to attribute visitors based on which platform they came from (which is not always available as web referrer info).
A relatively simple solution might be to add a block customization field for postfixing a string to article URLs returned by the feed, such as "?cmpid=rss"
