Enforce Typographically Correct Unicode Characters

In order to display articles beautifully, certain Unicode characters/sequences should be blocked in favor of alternatives:

  • “ ” or ʺ for " "
  • ‘ ’ or ʹ for ' '
  • … for ...
  • – or — for --
  • © for (c) (Example)

    Sometimes they also use special white space characters non line breaking spaces

    Also, a lot of editors use the oversized black circle (●), when they should use a bullet (•).
