In Websked you can easily find stories by searching their slug. In Ellipsis, if you search by slug using the main search bar, it will pull up every story that slug has been related to. We would love to have a specific filter to search by slug (similar to the ones for author and headline). And we would love it even more if that filter allowed for wildcard searching that we could tailor to our slugging conventions. For example:
SG1*17 -- all stories with the "Shore Guide" prefix that are targeted to the publish date 17
S*17 -- all stories with the "Sports" prefix that are targeted to publish date 17
SOCCER* -- all stories that start with slug SOCCER
This would enable a new method of searching that could be completely customized at the user and organization level, without having to add any actual configuration to the platforms.
