There is no way to see what the credit field for the image is within the Featured Media tab. Please add this field.

Yes - we would want to view and override the credit and photographer fields in the Featured Media tab in the same way that it can be done when adding an image in the text of the article.
I see this is marked as Planned - any idea when that will happen?
when an article is published the photographer/credit field appears in the caption - e.g., Lynda Finley/AP - in that case our style is to say Associated Press, not AP. So we have no way to see that the credit is AP unless we preview the article and no way to override either the photographer or credit field (or hide them) the way you can do for in-line photos.
three examples are is a wire image where seeing the credit field is important - and being able to override the data there without having to go back to the original photo, change the data, come back to Composer and refresh to bring in the new data.
so yes - we need to see the data and have the ability to override or hide the data - just like inline photos
Hi Lynda - hoping to learn more about this:
why is it important to see the credit field here?
is it necessary to have an additional ability to add a vanity credit for this field?
do you need the ability to override?
Thanks!
