Currently when I click on 'Save and Exit', the object that is opened (usually a story) is indeed saved and closed but then I'm redirected to the home screen of the application. From my understanding it is more usual that the tab simply closes and I fall back on to the last opened tab in my browser.
The benefit I see is:
it is a more usual behavior
it reduces the number of tabs i have open for Arc in my browser

Hi Guillaume,
Thanks for your idea submission! So "save and exit" and having that call to action close a tab is tricky, because there are scenarios and use cases where a user would want/expect the "save and exit" to take them back to where they were before. If we implement "save and exit" to close the tab a user is on, we'd have to do that in all instances to keep the behavior consistent across Arc. Because of that this is likely something we won't implement, especially since a user can manually close a tab if they are done with it, after they select "save and exit".
Thanks,
Larry
