The most commonly requested keyboard shortcut for our site is the ability to have the letters CQ in notes mode on a key. The writers need to add this designation to every name, proper noun, etc. in an story to indicate that they have confirmed the correct spelling. It is cumbersome to have to type CQ, highlight the letters CQ, make it notes mode and then highlight the letters again it again to copy/paste it when needed. They are used to having this keyboard shortcut ability in other CMS systems and have repeatedly requested this.
The ability to map specific functions to Ctrl/Alt levels of a keyboard (or Cmd key for a mac) is desperately requested.
