As a content-manager I want to be a able to use different templates for different tags.
For example: I have several hundred tags that belong to one category and should use a different template than the rest of the tags.
Furthermore I want to add information that is displayed on the tag-page. Right now I can only use
- tag name
- tag slug
- description
This is great to create lots of tags fast. So what I would like is to have a button to expand the form for more parameters like
- template
- sub_tag1 title
- sub_tag1 slug
- embed_code1 title
- embed_code1 html
- call_to_action1 title
- call_to_action1 button_url
- call_to_action1 button_text
- etc
With these parameters I can build a template that shows tag-specific HTML-widgets, for instance. Or a "contact us"-call to action on a tag-related page for a local newsroom.
I want to be able to chose these parameters for myself. They should only appear when the button "Create advanced tag" is activated - and in a perfect world, the paramaters match the chosen template, so that everything is clean and tidy.
Thanks for the idea, Kilian. We don't have any immediate plans to extend tags but will keep this in mind as we look to consolidate some of the back-office admin apps over the coming year.
